PRICING GUIDELINES
Wilkinson Expeditions will
work with your budget to produce the best trip possible for your money,
however there are some additional expenses to keep in mind when planning
your trip. The prices described below represent expeditions that are accessed
via ground transport from Anchorage. Trips involving bush plane or marine
vessel support will involve higher costs. See Notes
below for some basic descriptions of additional costs.
Our trips include all equipment
needed, except for cameras and film on photo trips. Multi-day excursions
include all meals, equipment, ground transport and convenient lodging can
be arranged for the nights before and after the trip dates. These pricing
guidelines are basic examples. The number of people in your group,
the area you wish to visit and the transportation involved will directly
effect the price of your trip.

Notes
Alaska is a very large state,
about one third of the size of the continental United States, so going
from Juneau to Fairbanks is like going from North Carolina to Michigan.
Transportation costs are a large part of getting around Alaska. There are
a limited amount of roads, with an unlimited amount of possibilities. For
example, bear viewing is a popular request. Bears like their solitude and
are in remote areas. A float plane or boat is the only possible way to
see the congregating and fishing bruins . Airfares from Anchorage will
range from $300pp additional, to $500pp for a day trip. It's an experience
of a lifetime but there is no "easy" way to get there. We will do our best
to get you the best prices for your choices and planning early is an important
part in helping keep your costs down.
